DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly carers book club in-person at Jubilee Library in Brighton. \nEach month we will select a new book to read and discuss. \nOver the past year we have read stories by some of the world’s greatest authors including Charles Dickens\, Neil Gaiman\, and Anne Enright. The stories cover all genres and although not all our members like each story we read\, they certainly do provide some wonderful\, interesting and insightful conversations. \nIf you would like to join our monthly book club\, please do get in touch so we can arrange our latest book for you. \nWe look forward to seeing you there….

SUMMARY:Carers Wellbeing Walk
DESCRIPTION:Walking is simple\, free and one of the easiest ways to be more active\, lose weight and become healthier.\nJoin the Carers Centre Team and other carers each month as we enjoy short accessible walks in beautiful surroundings followed by a wonderful chat and a coffee or hot chocolate afterwards. \nEach month we walk somewhere different to allow us to enjoy some of the wonderful sights and scenary in and around Brighton and Hove and our surrounding area. \nWe usually walk on the last Wednesday of the month (whatever the weather) \nEach month we walk for approximately 30 minutes to an hour depending on the location and the needs of the group. There are plenty of opportunities to take short breaks and sit down (where available)\, usually returning to or near to our meeting place for some well earned warm drinks and conversation. \nSuitable for all ages and abilities\, Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. (Maybe bring a drink and sunscreen or brolly). \nThe Carers Walking Group is a Free activity (unless you fancy a slice of cake at the end)
